Kel McGowan is Kelligrafie
When I was at college, some 6/7 years ago, I chose to study Video Production as an enhancement to my AS and A2 courses that I was doing concerning the media. It was probably my best subject and the one that I enjoyed the most. We covered pretty much every element of creating a film from acting, to props & costume, directing & editing, storyboards, you get the idea. So I have a really keen interest in films and how they're put together.
Thanks to a conversation I was having today with my friend Milia about Disney films that have been turned into horrors by various youtubers, I was inspired to create my top 5 of films that have been recut into horrors. By this I mean someone has taken original footage from the film and with the help of some creepy music, titles and occasionally footage from other films, they have seemingly changed the whole storyline of the film. Sometimes they have even taken two completely different films and mashed them together. But that's for a different blog all together! Let's get started.
These are in no particular order by the way.
Slash To The Future: Where Doc Brown falls foul of one of his own experiments and turns into a maniac.
Scary Mary Poppins: Are your children safe? Do you know where they are? Do you know who they're with? What Disney didn't want you to see.
Not So Incredible: Now I had wanted to post an incredible fan trailer where Mr Incredible was a man pushed to the very edge. When the hero goes bad so to speak. Sadly, it was removed from youtube quite a while ago now and I can't find it on the internet. This trailer though is more than adequate. Dash is killed in a freak accident and comes back to haunt his family. How dare you move on!
Toy Gorey: "The toys! The toys are alive!" Need I say more?
Ha Haw: This is here for a different reason however. This is a horror film (debate amongst yourselves the definition of 'horror' if you want, for this blog, I'm calling it horror - so there) turned into a family film. Cue hilarity.
