At first I was really concerned when I started to apply the mask because it looked like it contained crushed walnut shells, which I wasn't initially aware of. It only gets listed halfway through the ingredients, it's not prominently at the top like strawberry, vanilla and aloe vera. And last time I used a 7th Heaven mask which contained walnut shells (the charcoal one – do not buy!), it really irritated my face, particularly my nose. I wouldn't say I have sensitive skin but my nose felt as if I'd been sunburnt for about half a week after I'd used the mask.

This one wasn't as bad, but I'd still avoid using it anywhere on your face that is already red or sore. It has a nice creamy texture otherwise. Smells quite strongly of artifical strawberry and the smell will linger after you've washed it off. Wouldn't describe it as moisturising but your face will feel a litlle tight afterwards so if you want a toning sensation, you might like this one.

Update: Shortly after my face started stinging and feeling irritated but it only lasted a day or so. You can wash your face as well as you want afterwards, you'll be pulling bits of walnut shell off your cheeks and hairline forever.
