I read an interesting article today concerning something called the 'Birthday Paradox'. Being a Dr Who fan obviously the word 'paradox' grabbed my interest immediately.
The theory is this: that in a room of just 23 people, there is a 50/50 chance that two of you will have the same birthday. And increase the number of people to 75 and you have 99.9% probability that there's a double birthday going on
Now all my life it has plagued me that none of my favourite popstars shared my birthday. It was lame. The only matches I ever had were with Dawn French and Brendan Brown (the lead singer for Wheatus). Until recently when I discovered that I also shared my date of birth with Neil Buchanan who presented Art Attack. This was somewhat more comforting.
I decided to see if I could find anyone else.
So here we have it, people I share my birthday (11th October) with: Eleanor Roosevelt, the drummer from Culture Club, an actor from Home And Away and the daughter of Amy Grant.
I can feel the excitement in your bosoms people. As I'm sure you can feel mine.
