Kel McGowan is Kelligrafie
I'm sure you'll all be aware that a group of cows is usually called a herd, or that a group of lions is referred to as a 'pride'. But what about some of these less well-known ones? For example, did you know that a group of alligators is a congregation? More than one buffalo? That's an obstinancy. And a group of birds is a flock.
Ok, you knew that one. And you can apply it as a general term to any group of birds you like. But if you want to be more specific... it's a Dissumulation of ground birds and a knob of game birds. If you want to dig down to species level, you'll find a Flamboyance of flamingos or a murder of crows. Nice.
Here's a few more whacky terms you may or may not have heard of. If there's more than one name I'll add them in brackets.
