Kel McGowan is Kelligrafie
Day 2: Who was the last person you texted? Write a five-line poem to that person.
Well, I think it was my mother and I don't want to write a poem to her. Yes I'm a bad daughter boohoo. I picked who I last tweeted and it was Danny Jones from McFly. Contrary to popular belief, it's very rare that I ever tweet Danny. Honest. Half expecting it to be @Poyntersfeet or @Hanscans (sorry guys). Here's what I said to him.
@Dannymcfly you should do some McFly pub sessions. The atmosphere would be amazing.
Already this opens up a lot more oppotunities. It was in relation to Danny saying he'd done a pub gig with his sister and some old friends. And having seen Danny performing in his old local pub back home in Bromley Cross, seriously, I cannot imagine anything more perfect than sitting in a cosy little Woolpack or Rose And Crown, watching him belt out hit after hit after hit. Let's see if I can recreate that atmosphere in 5 lines of poetry. Not gonna be easy.
No matter how far or wild I roam & tread
I am fated to return to your bustle & greenery
Forever will I sing of victories & losses, love & hate, passion & fury
For I am always surrounded by the ones I love
In the place that I call my hometown
