Kel McGowan is Kelligrafie
Day 15: Rewrite (“regenerate”) any poem you wrote in the first two weeks of the 30dpc. (see rigormort.us if you’d prefer to regenerate someone else’s poetry…).
I'm going to regenerate the poem I wrote using one lyric from Read All about It but this time I'll use Emeli's version of it as a starting point.
If no-one ever hears it, how we gonna learn your song?
Open your mouth child, open it good
Sing along the blues like your mother learned you should
Popping at the piano like a bar-weary winner
Chime it like an angel, bash it like a sinner
Ohhhhh, sing it baby, sing it loud
Sing it right, sing it proud
Give it all you ever dreamed off, and add a little more
Rising to the challenge of a catchy jazz score
